Our Rooms

The Hopper's Room

Hopper’s is a lovely period building with a vaulted oak framed ceiling. We’re not quite sure for what it was originally intended for but think it was used for hop pickers who came to Kent for working holidays.

It has its own en-suite shower room and a King Size bed and also has an outlook onto The Orchard. There is a table for two for breakfast and supper to be taken in the room. Nearby in the pantry there is a fridge where we leave milk for tea and coffee for you and room for your own food and bottle of wine! Relax in bed and watch the HD TV or take advantage of the complementary Wi-Fi.

PLEASE NOTE.

This is not suitable as a family room.

It is only possible to accommodate one car per room.

The Orchard Room

Orchard has been well loved by all who have visited. It is light and spacious at 350 sq ft (33 sq m) with high ceilings (a novelty compared to our house!) and has a lovely outlook through three sets of French Doors onto our Apple and Pear Orchard. Not only does it have a Super King Size Bed but ample room to relax in its own seating area with a sofa and HD TV. There is a table for two for breakfast and supper to be taken in the room, a small fridge where we leave milk for tea and coffee for you and room for your own food and bottle of wine!

The large shower room has a walk in double size 1600 x 800mm shower and full height glass brick tiled screen.

There is an outside bench for guests to use.

Hopefully you can get a flavour from the photos but be assured guests have returned again and again!

Ideal for longer stays.

The Shepherd's Hut

Although it wasn’t towed into position by a horse our Shepherd’s Hut hasn’t lost its period charm as it has lovely tongue and grooved boarding throughout, a wooden shutter on the bed window and of course the obligatory wood burner!

There is a table for two for breakfast and supper to be taken in the room, a small fridge where we leave milk for tea and coffee for you and room for your own food and bottle of wine!

We hope you enjoy the spot we have chosen at the top of our Orchard with its outlook over neighbouring fields…and next to our favourite Bramley apple tree.

If you want a more adventurous glamping visit to Wilderness and the Weald of Kent… The Shepherd’s Hut is the place to stay. There is a small secluded area to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside in the evenings.

One for the glampers amongst you!

PS To avoid damp feet on the short walk through the orchard you may want to bring waterproof footwear!
